The South East Metropolitan Regional Council is created under the Local Government Act 1995 and complies with most requirements of any local government. Its members are the Cities of Armadale, Gosnells and South Perth.

Community Input

The SEMRC welcomes community input: Currently, there are two key ways in which members of the community may have input.

Attendance at Council meetings:

Members of the public are welcome to attend the Regional Council meetings. At the beginning of each meeting a time is set aside for public question time.

Community Reference Group

The Regional Council has established a Community Reference Group comprising up to five people from each local government area who are representative of the broad spectrum of the community. Aims: Objectives: Current membership:
